The WOW Supply Chain Activity Index blends real trailer-deployment data from our 37 locations with eight public benchmarks the industry already trusts, into one 0-to-100 reading. Free, in your inbox, every month.
Scored 0 to 100, with 50 marking long-run neutral. Above 50, logistics and storage activity is expanding. Below 50, it's contracting. Same convention as the PMI, the LMI, and the ISM, so it fits right into the dashboard you already watch.
Twenty percent of the Index comes from WOW's own Deployment Ratio: trailers going on rent versus coming off, across 37 locations. It's one of the cleanest reads of goods actually moving, not a survey of how the market feels.
The other eighty percent comes from eight public series: Cass, the ISM, the LMI, the U.S. Census, the NY Fed, and Cushman & Wakefield, weighted into one comparable number. You don't have to pull eight reports together yourself.
